Keep Cipher Notes ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the Keep Cipher Notes mobile application.

1. Zero-Trust Offline Architecture

Keep Cipher Notes is built with an "Offline-First" philosophy. Your notes, checklists, drawings, and 2FA secrets are stored locally on your device in a secured sandbox. We do not maintain any cloud databases, and your sensitive content is never synchronized to our servers.

2. Data Encryption

All sensitive content is protected using industry-standard AES-256-GCM encryption. Your master password and encryption keys are never stored in plaintext and never leave your device. If you lose your master password, we cannot recover your data.

3. Information We Collect

• Personal Content: We do not collect or view your notes, images, or drawings. These stay strictly on your device.
• Usage Data: We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous diagnostic information (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to improve the application. This data does not contain any personal identifiers.
• Permissions: The app requests access to Biometrics (for secure login), Camera/Gallery (for note attachments), and Notifications (for security reminders). These are used only for the app's functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers to serve personalized ads.
• Google Play Billing: Used to process In-App Purchases (Pro upgrade). Payment information is handled exclusively by Google Play.
• Firebase: Used for app analytics and crash reporting.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have absolute custody over your data. You can delete individual items or use the "Full Data Erasure" feature in the app settings to permanently wipe all local databases and preferences. Since no data is stored on our servers, deleting the app or using the wipe feature removes all your information.
