Everly ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application.

1. Data Collection & Storage

Offline-First: Everly is primarily an offline application. Your journals, memories, and vault entries are stored locally on your device. We do not access this data unless you explicitly enable Cloud Backup.

Cloud Backup: If you choose to sign in with Email or Google, your data is encrypted and synchronized to Google Firebase servers (Firestore) to allow for cross-device restoration.

2. Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture) to identify your backup records.

3. Advertisements

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's advertising ID to provide personalized ads. You can manage these settings in your device's Google settings.

4. Permissions

• Biometrics: Used only locally to unlock your private vault.
• Notifications: Used to send reminders for your scheduled events.
• Exact Alarms: Required to ensure your reminders trigger at the precise time specified.

5. Data Security

Private vault entries are AES-encrypted on your device. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transit and while stored in the cloud.
